Time's Running Out..

So my time here in the Gleann is reaching the end rather quickly now. We leave Saturday morning for Dublin, that will be another full day of bus riding. Whee. Then I'll have 4 nights in Dublin before I fly home. I'm excited about coming home and seeing everyone again and getting to share my experiences but I also don't want to leave at the same time...

Happy Birthday to Me in Ireland!

So, yeah. It was a very good birthday. Apparently it was my "golden birthday" because I turned 22 on the 22nd. My new friends, Jeni and Kitzen, made me a chocolate cake and got me my favorite alcohols as a present. I also got the large stuffed sheep I'd been eyeing in a local shop from Nick and Stephanie. My Irish teacher, Patsy, asked me which pub I was going to for my birthday so I told him Biddy's even though I'd originally decided not to go out since my jaw has been locked since Thursday night and lack of food is not good for hanging out at the pub. Luckily I was able to eat some dinner tonight and some birthday cake so I did get to enjoy my birthday drinks. Does anyone know if I'm allowed to check a 300ml bottle of alcohol in my baggage?
